A New Degree Program to Professionalize Entrepreneurial Support in Madagascar

April 29, 2026, marks a significant step forward for the Malagasy entrepreneurial ecosystem with the official launch of the Continuing Education Program in Management of Entrepreneurship Support Structures and Entrepreneurial Mentoring (FCD MSAE-AE).

Led by CEENTRE with PPI (People Power Inclusion), in partnership with ISCAM and with the support of the European Union, this initiative aims to structure and professionalize a still-emerging profession: that of entrepreneur mentor.

Designed for working professionals, the program offers a flexible format (online courses, evening and weekend sessions) and a practice-oriented curriculum, enabling participants to obtain a Higher Education Diploma (DES). Beyond training, this initiative builds upon and sustains the achievements of the SEEED project, by permanently strengthening the skills of support providers.

As Roberto Schiliro, Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Madagascar and the Comoros, emphasized:

It is intended for professionals working with an Entrepreneurship Support Structure (ESS) in Madagascar.

By strengthening the capacities of support structures, CEENTRE confirms its central role in structuring the entrepreneurial ecosystem and contributes to building a more efficient environment, serving decent employment and the economic development of the country.
